Use Your Apparent Destruction for Your Construction

"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and conveniences, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy." - Martin Luther King Junior

In the spirit of Martin Luther King Jr day I am using on of what I feel is one of his greatest quotes. Basically what I am trying to tell you is anyone can be great when their circumstances are great, but when you are stuck between a rock and a hard place and don't know how you're going to get through, and you do, and you come out on top, that, is greatness. The ability to see past your right now. To not only have patience and wait, but also to work.
Usually when things are going well we don't think to do anything to get ahead because we are content with ourselves and our situation. Sometimes it takes a struggle for us to get vision. By vision I mean the ability form and idea of where you want to be, to see yourself where you can be, and begin taking the steps to get there. Am I saying this will happen over night. NO! That is unrealistic. But what's for certain is if you do nothing, you will get nothing in return. That, is for certain. Everyone gets knocked down, the beauty is in the ability to get right back up again. Often you see people and think, "Man they are doing it!", but you do not know the story behind their glory. Or the stress they endured to get to their success. If you can, ask them what their story is. I garuntee you it didn't come easy.
Be diligent in all that you do and do not dwell in your circumstances. Do not get beat down and stay there. Be able to look back and laugh. Know that what was, won't be anymore. Know that the only place you can go from the bottom is up. Use your distress for your success. It's not over until God says it's over. With the faith of a mustard seed you can move mountains.

Remember...YOU be Your biggest fan!
Now get out there and make it happen captain!
