A Quote to get us started by one of the greatest women out there...Maya Angelou!
" A bird doesn't sing because it has an answer, it sing because it has a song." - Maya Angelou
Now you guys can see from my profile that I love this woman, but this quote speaks to me in that it makes me realize that in spite of it's bondage and circumstance the caged bird STILL sings it STILL has a song, and nothing or no one can take that. Today I emplore you to find your song and see it and watch it morph into the ballad of you as you overcome and you will then sing a song of the you that was and is no more, and what you are to become and the happiness you will come to feel and then watch as it becomes your song of freedom and triumph.
Remember...YOU be YOUR biggest motivator, fan, and happy with yourself, and the rest will come.

Really nice..I agree with you. We all must not allow circumstances to hinder our victory. If we focus on and use the gift that God has given each of us; we will gain. Through this we are free..Thanks for sharing!!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice. I agree. Took me a long long time to come to be my biggest fan. I always looked to others to make me happy but end the end I'm the only one that knows what makes me happy and how to make myself happy even if I hang out by myself. Take care and keep up the deep thoughts.
ReplyDeleteThis was very nice, Jasmine. I expect nothing less of you. You are bright, intelligent and beautiful. The content of your blog is great. If you want my grammar expertise, I would spell can't "can't" since it is a contraction for cannot. But other than that, it is wonderful...Best of luck to you...
ReplyDeleteJasmine, I really enjoyed reading your blog. It took me many years to understand exactly what you are saying in your blog, so you are WAY ahead of where I was at your age. It was an honor to be your trainer at Aon Hewitt and I came to admire you so very much. Not only are you beautiful, but you are a great teacher and you were able to motivate your classmates enough that many of them were able to pass their state exam to become insurance agents. Keep up the wonderful work that you are now doing, and always be your own biggest fan and be comfortable with the great human being that you already are. Continue to strive to become all that you can be. That, alone, will inspire those around you, but especially, and most importantly, your daughter.
